九州のイネ科から得られた１メスを基に記載された。本州～九州に広く分布し、ヒサカキやハマヒサカキの葉からしばしば多数の個体が得られる。前胸背板は長刺毛を欠く。オスは未知。

This species was described based on a female collected from grass in Kyushu. It is widely distributed into Honshu to Kyushu and sometime many individuals occur on leaves of Eurya japonica and Eurya emarginata. It has the pronotum without posteroangular setae. Male is knnown.
